Accessibility guidance is easy to get wrong in ways that only show up later: a ramp at a slope that looks fine on paper and is unusable in February, a stair lift specified for a staircase it cannot safely take, a bathroom that meets a dimension but not the way somebody actually transfers.
Matt reviews what we publish against what gets installed. Where a figure or a clearance is quoted here, it has been checked by somebody who has fitted the equipment in Minnesota homes and pulled the permits for it.
Ocel Builders installs as a MN Limited Elevator Contractor (LC 714181) and holds a MN Builders License (BC 590012). Powered lifts and elevators are permitted, inspected equipment in Minnesota, not appliances you bolt down, and the licence is what lets us pull those permits.
